Source? Because Indra is faithful to his wife Shachi. He has Arjuna and a few others as "children" but those are more like him being godfather than biological one since he only blessed Kunti after she was already pregnant by Pandu. No actual sex happened. Same applies to most other Hindu "demigods".

As for Odin he has a lot of children but most of them are by Friggr. The rest either never had a mother specified(therefore is presumable it's still by Friggr), of that only Vidar and Vali has Jotunn mothers. 2 illegitimate children is nowhere near Zeus's level.

Better example would be Loki, given how Sleiphnir came to be, and Ravana(not a god but wtv), who notably had children with, among other things, fishes and elephants.

Without being able to answer the first one, I would suggest that people attribute behavior to gods what they believe humans would do if they had absolute power.
