I'm guessing the "Check Translation" stems from uncertainty of rendering "天然もの" as "airhead", but please tell me if I'm wrong.

Akatsuki might be an airhead but that's not stopping her from wanting to burn the midnight oil with "onii-san". She just wants to do it in a proper way, just doesn't know how.

More that I did this while amazingly tired, so thought it best to put that on just in case.

"天然" here should be interpreted as "natural" in its original meaning. Akatsuki is doing those things naturally, without affectation. We may also consider it as an antonym for "artificial".

Yeah, that was my thought; but I wanted to confirm it's what Paracite was uncertain about, in case it involved a special usage of "天然もの" I wasn't aware of. I'll revise a bit and see what people think.

I'm reading this as Inazuma sayng Akatsuki just blunders her way through things because she's an airhead, while Hibiki and Ikazuchi are (mis)understanding that Akatsuki is naturally seductive...? Or am I completely misunderstanding this joke?

Inazuma's saying Akatsuki just tends to flirt with the teacher by her very nature, rather than with any deliberate purpose. I.e., she's not actively trying to attract the teacher, she just naturally acts in ways that do so. Not a matter of being airheaded so much as having an unconscious talent.
