Can't figure out the left-hand kanji in the name. The closest equivalent I can find in Japanese would be 抵, but it's still off and also makes no sense in this context. After some digging I found the Chinese 㹝, which seems like an exact match but is so obscure and also weird in context that I have trouble believing it's actually it.

The first character I thought of when I saw that was 狐, but it's clearly not an exact match.
