Fan art of character Aomame from Haruki Murakami's novel 1Q84.

This is based on a scene in Chapter 1 where she decided to jump off a metal barrier in the in the Metropolitan Expressway #3 in the Sangenjaya area to skip traffic and make it to her 3:45pm appointment.
If you've read the novel or at least the chapter, the panty shot accompanied with her line has a significance to her character.
The costume is based off descriptions on the book, with her shoes (not shown) being put in her big hand bag to give her mobility.
