Hello! Today I decided to share the Behind The Scenes of one of my earlier commissions based on Arknights for Leon Günther; it's Texas & Exusiai! 💕
I started the process by giving my client Leon 2 variation sketches of poses and composition, then we proceeded with the 2nd one because he found it more intimate. However I was asked to change Exu's pose slightly to make her kiss Texas' forehead instead. After that, I sketched out 2 different background room designs, which we settled on the 2nd one as well since it looked more cozy and filled with more plants. Most of the ideas for furniture placements came from Pinterest, I did a lot of research on cozy bedrooms that can show the personality and the daily life of a girl couple that could attract the audience. In the end, the results are satisfying and I'm glad my client liked it 😁🌟
