Original Japanese uses joudama, meaning either "prized jade" (or gemstone in general) or "some item that is of extraordinary quality for its class" (the more common meaning).
But by way of analogy from both senses of the word above, joudama can also mean "beautiful woman".
So, he's basically answering the question without actually "answering" it.
