I always figured Kasen-chan's flower was like a tree peony or a Chinese peony, but that it was fine to draw just something along those lines, as long as it looks flashy. But this time it had to have a nice smell, so it's specifically a Chinese peony. You can't really tell from the drawings, so just take my word for it...
