Hey folks...I've been a lazy artist lately and I'm sorry for the lack of new work. I went to the Comic Con and was blown away! I'm still recovering...the whole experience was eye opening and very inspirational!

This is for my pal Njoo's contest...the topic was "Satan's Mom". I wanted to test some new techniques with this...I got one of the best art books I've ever read by one of my favorite artists Matt Dixon [link] Here's a link to the book too, highly recommended! [link]
The book deals with rendering in greyscale and applying colors last. It allows me to focus on the form and details first and lets the colors do the work in the end. I think this may be the approach I go with from now on. Let me know what you guys think and check out that book! I hope everyone is well and take care!
