Reminded me I had heard that the Russian mafia was found smuggling millions of gallons of grain alcohol from the US to Russia awhile ago (doing a quick google check found the article from 2000, see NY Times). Gist of was that they were buying 192-proof grain alcohol in the US, dying it and shipping it back to Russia labeled as things like industrial cleaner, windshield wiper fluid, etc to avoid the heavy tariffs on imported alcohol (and cheaper to buy than it would be to produce locally in Russia). Once in Russia they'd remove the dye, dilute the alcohol, and add "Vodka flavorings" and then sell it on their black market.
I think Atlanta has crossed a line that should not have been crossed. She's going to be on the receiving end of harsh Soviet retribution soon.
Maybe Atlanta should try wearing ear plugs at night? It seems she is the only one having a problem with the nighttime rowdiness of the dorm. Heck, Colorado and the Hero-of-the-World's room is right next door to the Soviets, and they didn't put a stop to it (and Iowa usually doesn't hesitate to put her foot down when it comes to the Reds). It was established that Atlanta's room is on the third floor, much farther away. All of the other American rooms, the Brits and the French are closer to the Soviets than Atlanta's room, and none of them are reacting. This is all probably setting things up for the entire dorm to want Bismarck back and generally curb their worst excesses for fear of Atlanta taking over again and basically saying "obey the rules without guile or exploiting loopholes or lose everything you like for every offense." This is, after all, supposed to be a temporary posting until Bismarck recovers from her mental breakdown.
Bismarck will be welcomed back with open arms and some appreciation for her gentler hand.
