TSR fanboys are everywhere apparently. I swear the way some guys idolize that thing you'd think it was Jesus in airplane form, only the Arrow has a more ardent group of cultists.
Aaaah, it's nothing compared to the fanservice VF-1 Valkyries have gotten over the years. The F-14 Tomcat on which it is based has recently been decommissioned from the U.S. navy, yet its shape still commands awe and reverence.
I'm more concerned about the cute teenage girls in tight flightsuits. How come you never see pilots shaped like this in real life?
Actually I more posted it when I found it because I'm a fan of the series. But since I'm a Aviation geek also, I found all the Cold War aircraft being used in the series was kind of interesting. Of course, Studio Fantasia, has produced serveral of my favorite series such as Agent Aika, AIKa R-16: Virgin Mission, Najica Blitz Tactics, & the ero title Lingeries.
Or perhaps you could be "concerned" about the idiotic "look at my ass" cockpits in Stratos 4. Further, maybe the TSR-2 is over-publicised, but they also flew the Yak-28. Who loves the Yak-28?

Because a REAL pressure suit is basically a human shaped balloon and would make even a super model look like the stay puff marshmallow man.

Hey now don't be hating on the flying Dildo, not all airplanes can be pretty!
Still many of the planes of that era do have a certain mystique to them, they couldn't do ANYTHING but go really fast true, but damn could they go fast. I'd still take the F-4 over ANY of them though it's perhaps the quintessential example of as one person put it "The triumph of thrust over aerodynamics."

Don't forget the B-58 Hustler derivative at the start of episode 2

If you read up on their respective histories, you'll understand why.
