The point of thre picture is, that the Sputnik appeared in Gensokyo, because it completely disappeared from our world. She is NOT in the space as we know it, as she is still inside Gensokyo's barrier.

I'm going to be nick pick about this and such but sputnik didn't disappeared from our world. But historically it burned up in earth atmosphere..meaning it couldn't possibly appear in Gensokyo...and the barrier doesn't far as i know into space...plus no one going to see you up there as your up like according what the raw data back then was about maximum alt of 559 or 560 miles (or about 900 kilometers) up.....yea no one going to notice......far as the breathing part.....it Gensokyo logic....
