Given how bad "navel lint" smells, I think it's likely it'll taste even worse. Not a great place to put a liquid in my view.

To be fair, for some people with particularly deep navels cleaning with soap and water doesn't help very much, as sometimes you can get mild rashes/infections there (which is usually the cause of the foul smell)

The best thing to use in that case is some kind of antiseptic, like tea tree oil.

Yeah that's probably TMI but it might be useful information to somebody!
