No particular reason to be completely honest. I've been browsing BiliBili to search for Arknights related content, and there happens to be some overlap with the Touhou community. That consequently leads back to NicoNico with loads of older material. And I just grab anything that picks my interest and take it along for the ride back to Danbooru.
Though backup purposes is a secondary reason. I uploaded post #2147905 a few years ago, and it has since been taken down from Nico. So I do try to save the special ones this way.

Preservation is one of the best reasons to repost something here, if you ask me.
