An autonomous all-purpose worker robot classified as a low-cost bipedal robot back when it was released.
Its low cost made it suitable for small to medium sized businesses looking to shore up their workforce.
It's actuated by a diesel engine powering an electric motor and electro-hydraulic cylinders.
It operates autonomously by reacting to its environment, perceived with the help of a radar and cylindrical camera unit mounted in the "nose" area.
Its theoretical range of possible applications is broad, including areas such as public construction works, forestry, dairy production or farming, but the number of actually practical applications is limited due to its large frame and grade of AI it uses.
The robot comes with personal computer software for programming it, and it executes the inputted instructions within the bounds of maintaining safety as a primary concern (based on the mode it's in).
It's possible to create instructions for it with just a little knowledge of BASIC.
