It might be a stretch, but Carnivore doesn't seem to be in a particularly good mood for someone who seems to at least take pleasure in the idea of violence. My little theory is Herbivore told Carnivore about what the "lies" the shadow at the door said to her, and Carnivore killed her at the mere thought of Herbivore learning her secrets and running away.

In any case, this is quite a chilling psychopath we've got here. We've got quite a few hints that she uses immortality via cloning machine to repeatedly abuse and murder her friend/lover, and now with this scene we clearly see she actually is a well-adjusted female serial killer. It's really not easy to make this kind of character type sell, but when it comes to life you get some truly icky adult horror. The slouching posture, messy hair, and those dreamy, self-important bits of dialogue she's had previously really ice the cake.

Everything about her screams "I'm a creep, avoid me". The kind of person you wouldn't want to meet in an empty grocery store isle even during the day. Herbivore might have been safer opening the door.

Yeah... I got that feeling she said the whole stuff and "that" happened.

The "debate" made no sense since literally everything we've been shown of these two is meant to imply carnivore is eating (literally killing and consuming the flesh of) herbivore over and over.

I think she doesn't look happy for the same reason that there is a down after masturbation. Once the chemicals fade, you're left with a sense of emptiness.

Years ago, I found Abubu via his non-H comics here. I was slightly disappointed to realize that these did not comprise the majority of his work.
But when you put it that way, it comes across much sillier.

For some reason. I read the Shadowatthedoor's later "Open it" more desperate sounding then it's normal demanding style. Like it's either concerned or curious.
