I like how the angle of the picture presents Shinji as the diminutive one, which is pretty much the way their relationship works. Although I'd figure that by this point (when she's all beat up, and it ends up just being the two of them) he might start taking the lead

well he does strangle her in the *real* ending..

...he dosn't manage to kill her in the end, gives up just short and Asuka rags on him some more :D
