She's appropriately voiced by Australia-born Uchida Shuu, but I can't really confirm how much Australian-sounding her lines are.
She sounds more British to me, which I suppose is appropriate since she was originally part of the Royal Navy as HMS Amphion. Have to admit that I was wanting a more stereotypical Aussie accent though.
HC: she does not like torpedo-boats very much, since she had a bad experience with one in the Mediterranean. Namely, a torpedo-boat escorting a small troop convoy to Crete fought back with so much spunk (even sailing between two cruisers at minimal range) that the convoy commander, already worried about probable air attacks, opted to double back, so only two small boats of the convoy got sunk, and the torpedo-boat (called Sagittario, btw) got out with minimal damage.
I think I would prefer Poland tho, but yeah Canada is fine too.
To be honest, I didn't expect Poland to have a fighting Naval force in WW2 until I found out they had several vessels escaping to join with the British fighting in WW2.

The only warship worth mentioning in Poland at the time was Blyskawica (now a museum ship) and Grom (who got sunk shortly after joining the british Royal Navy).
Canada got some cruisers, but their most famous ship is the HMCS Haida, as a coincidence, both (Blyskawica and Haida) were part of the same division in some engagements off France.

Oh hell yeah, if those two or one of them were implemented, there would be a full blown house party in Ido's foreign ships dormitory between them, the Germans and the Russians.
