Suien Watae Species: Ocean Youkai Before Turning Youkai: A Highly Venomous Blue-Lined Octopus Due to a random mutation, Suien was born with poison even stronger than others of her species. As a result, she was shunned by the sea life around her and grew up all alone. Then one day, she met a human who accepted her for who she was, poison and all. This led her to transform into a youkai. Suien is incredibly shy and doesn't talk much. However, she will make an effort to give voice to her thoughts if she feels it's important enough. When experiencing especially strong emotions, her blue rings turn red and her venom becomes even more potent. In this state, even her saliva is poisonous.
