I am pretty sure that this is a reference to a mechanic in Kemono Friends 3, called "Picnic," where you can put in up to 5 Friends together to wait 8 hours while they play together to get certain gems to increase their star rarity.
In order to activate the "Picnic" you need food items like the french bread, which increases the timer by 4 hours each, so you need to use 2 to get the max of 8 hours. Thus the picnic basket full of bread, and the five Friends in the picture "sharing" two pieces of bread lol.
