I think that would be playing on the effect seen heavily in Ace Combat 5 when firing on large aircraft (AWACS, tankers, transports); they suddenly jump up in airspeed and altitude whenever you get near them.

I recently found out that there's an F-15J squadron in the JASDF (the 304th to be exact) that calls itself the "Tengu Warriors."

Someone needs to find out if any of their planes have Aya for noseart.
