on one hand, its kind of cute. on another if you were to take their age into realism drawings, they would look physically older.

Wow, I didn't even notice the fingers until I saw the polydactyly tag.

"polydactyly" that's got to be a medical term. I can't even pronounce it.

"poly" like in polygon, "dactyl" like in pterodactyl, and "ly" like in "suddenly."

True since they are about 18 (Not sure about Konata... since it's stated she has a lolibuild.); and ignorant folks assume it's about lolis due to the cute chibi-ish artstyle.
