There was a mystic named En no Gyouja who encountered a kishin on his trek across the roadless mountains and was given spells and food. We're following in his footsteps.
Humans?
Alas, it's just part of our training.
Why would you even come to a place like this?
We can't even describe how happy we were to meet you after getting lost on our way. Would you please follow the story's example and let us stay the night as well? There's got good sake, too. We can all drink together!Hoo...?And why exactly are you traveling priests carrying this sort of rare sake out in the mountains? It's only natural that you'd doubt us. In our teachings it is said that if you receive compassion, you shalt not refuse even things that do not suit you. Striking or being struck, it's all the same dream. If it means becoming a Buddha, you do not taste your food twice.
Ha ha ha
If it'll give us a chance to know more about you, we'd be more than happy to share a drink.
