And the title is a reference to Saga (released as "Final Fantasy Legend" in English), where due to some errors in the programming, the final boss was able to one-shotted by the chainsaw.

Me, I'm reminded of the climax of the Jaws-parody storyline in Schlock Mercenary, but that's just a case of that storyline and this strip having Jaws as a common source reference.
