They will definitely have to change the story as well. This is evident as characters from CT appear even in the intro, and I'm not gonna lie this makes me a bit worried.
Secondly, the collab Griffin T dolls are Super Shorty, IDW, and G28 as we all can see. I did not spoil myself on the story contents at all, but skimming through comment sections it seems M16 and 416 are involved too (HYPE).
Which brings me to the oddest thing: CN users have started to take a liking to IDW. And by that I mean she apparently plays a large role in the story and made...a...personal sacrifice? I saw a lot of users proudly declaring themselves IDW fans 0_o.

I played on Taiwanese server, and I can assure you this event is spoiler free to the main story (as with all the other collabs). Although they did have a few nods to the story, you need to actually know the story to understand it. Particularly the Nyto (debuted in CT) was only described to be hated by G&K.
M16 and 416 are hilarious. But you may be surprised by what they have in for you. And admit it, everyone is a fan of IDW (Evil grin)
Also, I can't place this event into the main story timeline due to conflicting events, so don't think too hard about it, it's not canon anyway.
