Things like this happen all over the world. Never underestimate how stupid the average criminal is, with the help of mind altering narcotics. There was this one situation in Nevada where a robber handed his gun to a passerby, who then shot him. The robber survived, but complained about the state of the world where you can't trust anyone these days. lol

I've heard this all the time but: "If they weren't stupid, they wouldn't be crooks."
We had a report not too long ago where a guy put a $20 on the counter and asked for change. When the register opened, he lunged forward, grabbed the cash, and ran...leaving his $20 bill. They found out he had stole roughly $18 from the register, so technically he paid the store $2 to rob them.
