Here's a short description of Rad's cool fanfic:

An abandoned city that used to be underground but the majority of the top of the cavern has been recently blown away to reveal the sky and the entire city has been covered in clear crystals with tiny flecks of color ranging from the size of a thumbnail to tall enough to touch clouds, with the largest clustered together in a rough circle shape. Several clusters of these crystals emit a soft white light that refracts through those surrounding them to create a vast rainbow effect.
