I just felt it seemed like a double entendre. なか can mean "inside" but it can also mean "relationship". A Kanji wasn't used here.
Don't forget this is a ReiMari doujin. It would also make sense given that the plot is also that they're arguing about... their relationship. Maybe I'm wrong, but maybe I'm not?

Not a bad catch, but "仲に入る" means "act as an intermediary" and would be a real stretch to say anything about a relationship. Plus, well... "Get together with me inside already" is just a weird sentence imo.
