    >TFW realize most amime-nip artists probably didn't had enough efforts to do research in most things anyway.

But still...There might be some of us who surging with powerlevels to answer my curiosity, yes? Nah...Probably just gibberish.

She's saying her ABCs (well, F U Th A R K...) in Elder Futhark, the ancestral Germanic runic alphabet that formed the basis for Younger Furthark (Scandinavian runes) and Anglo-Frisian Futhorc (Old English runes).

    Edit:
...and there were quite a few errors and inconsistencies which made it hard to read. See TN notes.

According to my extensive research (read: five minutes on Wikipedia), this is a transcription of the Kylver stone, a stone found in Gotland in 1903 containing the earliest known record of the runic alphabet. The discrepancies in certain runes come from the original stone.

Huh, so it is. Thanks for doing the research. This turns the whole thing into a clever reference by the author. The discrepancies on the runestone are likely caused by an inexperienced carver practicing runic script. Making it, well, basically somebody else's homework from the 5th century...

Edit: Oh and the Jeran rune is fused together, an error not present on the original runestone.

    F u þ a r k g w h n i j p ï z s t b e m l ŋ d o.
Complete listing of Elder Futhark runes, in order Fehu, Uruz, Thurisaz, Ansuz, Raido, Kaunan, Gebo, Wunjo, Hagalaz, Naudiz, Isaz, Jeran, Pertho, Eihwaz, Algiz, Sowilo, Tiwaz, Berkanan, Ehwaz, Mannaz, Laguz, Ingwaz, Dagaz, Othala. Roughly speaking, Gotland is stating the ABCs (literally) of ancient 'Viking' runes. ('Viking' being a bit of a misnomer, but it suffices.) This is a reference to the inscriptions on the Kylver Stone, a Swedish runestone excavated in Gotland (the place, not the ship). There are some inconsistencies in the writing of the runes, but most of these are also peculiar to the Kylver Stone. Notably in both this image and the original inscription, the runes Ansuz (A), Suwilo (S) and Berkanan (B) are mirrored left-right, while Algiz (Z) is upside-down. Additionally, the runes are out of order. (like ABCs in English the runes follow a certain order, which are reinforced in memory with poems like modern-day alphabet songs.) It is likely that the Kylver Stone inscriptions are the result of someone practicing runic script. Going from this theory, the inconsistencies are introduced by an inexperienced carver. The 'shakiness' of the runic script and the omission of strokes on the runes Fehu and Wunjo (incomplete in the original runestone, but completed by the modern-day artist here) would seem to support this theory. This is further supported by the shape (and order in the alphabet) of similar letters in the Old Italic and Latin alphabets, which are theorized to be what the Elder Futhark is derived from. Finally, there is also an error with the rune Jeran (J), with the two separate lines making up ᛃ fused together. This error is introduced by the modern-day artist, and is not present in the original runestone inscription.
