I thought SF went nuts or something and killed people which started the whole war or something? If people got raided by androids that were "designed" to be safe for industrial work I could understand the survivors having a jaded perspective of T-dolls and stuff.

The former is just plain false, Soppo breaks a bitchy civilian's arm in the most recent chapter (though she intended to just swat away her slap) and the T-Dolls have no issues with engaging KCCO infantry.

Soppo and the rest of Anti Rain don't really count when it comes to standard T-dolls rules. As for what you have in spoilers I haven't played that but keep in mind the that they can directly engage humans if given a direct order to do so by their commanding officer. See 4 Night and supplementary material for reference.
