Not much spoilers, except for her and AK-12 existence.
AN-94 always talk about AK-12 to the point of her life pretty much revolves around her. Fan artists have fun with that and make her dorky.

It really got started when she showed up in full tacti-cool frogman gear as her summer 'swim suit' art, the story that went along with it pretty much sealed the deal (what is this 'fun' you speak of hooman?). She's basically as socially inept as you'd kind of expect a android killing machine to actually be and acts profoundly befuddled by even simple social interactions and concepts. She basically seems to think like a genderbent robo Sagara; everything in her world is contextualized within the spheres of combat and protecting/assisting her assigned target. Anything else confuses the shit out of her, but like the above this is largely played for comedy so far so it comes across as endearingly dorky rather then tragic.
