This surely won't backfire horribly for all those involved, ha ha ha!
You know, for all the fun these deviations from the original storyline are, I'd like to see Riyo's take on the Crypters. They're such a bunch ripe for ridiculing, although I suppose they don't want risking to have anything about them spoiled from a gag manga.

If Riyo does the Crypters, I hope he does to Ophelia what he's currently doing for Olga Marie.

It seems the one dealing with the cypter and the main part 2 arc is Gudao. And since we’re watching Beast VII, we’re not seeing whats going on beyond the scene. I guess it would be a nice change of POV if we start focusing Gudao.

Yeah, the reason why we haven't seen much from any of the singularities is because riyo wanted to keep this spoiler-free. It's a shame though, so many servants to be used in the jokes, wasted away like that. Such a shame.
^Could also be DW telling him to keep it spoiler free, they seem REAL strict on any kind of spoiler, since the freaking New Years event required LB3 cleared, it's hilarious they enforce this, when ANYONE can be spoiled at ANY time, How?, The Internet and Social Media....

Not to mention every time the new LB comeout they bombard it with Summoning of the final boss and every significant character no less. Skadi-Scathach was the worse since she was all over the place and it was not a surprise who the big boss was even when they tried to hide it.
Sorry, but I just have to get this off my chest.
Rant alert
This is the problem with DW recently, they’ve got their head up their fucking ass when it comes to the lostbelts. True, compared to the original grand order the story and plot is very well done and amazingly captivating, with Nasu really putting his all into writing the scenerios. I genuinely want to keep reading and find out whats going on, but at my own pace yet the recent events have been nothing but a way for us to force through the story.
That New year event truely piss me the fuck off cause it forced us to finish LB3 which came out less than a month ago. I feel like it’s them shoving their story in my face and forcing me to do the Lostbelt and that piss me the fuck off since it would mean I have to bum rush the entire thing without even time to enjoy it. It seems to me that DW wants to be all secrecy with stories yet they really, really, really want people to read their story even if by means of force which is just really pretenious. They want to surprise us with all the twist and turns but can’t help but put the surprise right in our fucking faces.
DW have a good thing right now. FGO’s story is in a very good place and there is alot of effort being put into it and I’m sure DW knows that as well, but forcing the player through the story and alienating those that enjoy taking it slow or haven’t reach certain parts of the game is just not the way to go. FGO already feels like a game for those that already been playing for a long time/whalers but doing shit like locking off events just because of bullshit “spoilers” really feels like a middle finger to most (mid tier) newer players or existing casual players that want to take it easy. And I have a feeling it’s only going to get worse, which really sucks.
But, that might just be me.
Besides that, holy shit! 3 more episode of Riyo’s comic?! GIMME GIMME GIMME! I guess that questinnaire does work. I was going to make multiple accounts and spam “More Riyo learn with Manga anime” but good to know that even they already know we want more. Yaaaay.
Also...to be able to wound the Beast of man with a lance/spear? C...could that be...Servant Longinus?!

I saw a few Requiem images online, and one of them showed Servant Longinus. He looked nothing at all like this new Servant.

I don't know. I would rather have events actually acknowledging the main story in some way. That way, the world doesn't feel stagnant. A lot of the earlier events already made the event milestone pretty low (Fuyuki) with the first event that went above that is the Prison Tower (London) because of plot reason. Because we're actually progressing the main story, the event has a clear position within the timeline instead of inside a time pocket limbo that makes the event experience really bitter in hindsight (We have a fun story about Tomoe, pagoda, setsubun, and hot spring! Too bad, it's all just a dream. Our home is still frozen, our folks had just been slaughtered, humanity is no more, and we're still on the run).
Beside, how long does it take to finish a chapter? I procrastinated in between Babylonia and I still finished it in 5 days using natural AP generation; a lot of time to spare before Solomon.

It's not that the singularities or whatever take a long time, it's the fact DW is FORCING you to clear them as quick as possible, just in case the next big event requires LBX to be cleared, Some people just like doing the story at their own pace, and not have to worry about needing to clear it for an event.
The sad part is it'll continue since JP doesn't seem to have an issue with it or they would've addressed it already, so won't it be fun when Part 3 comes along, and the next event will be like "Complete Singularity 4 of Part 3" or something?, At that point new players will especially be screwed out of playing newer and newer events, all cause of big bad spoilers.

My record time for Lostbelt was 1 and a half day but that was Gotterdammer. I really loved that chapter and really wanted to enjoy it but when I was forced to complete it for Shutenween I had no choice but to rush it as fast as I could. It was a terrible experience because it was constant (tough)fighting without breaks and having to skip some of my very favorite parts, and couldn’t even take in the story That part of Ophelia and her death, Mash staying by her side, poor Gerda and all the human populations and that god damn magnificant bastard Napoleon. It was a very, very good and touching story that did not deserve to be rushed, but to tell the truth that was on me. Shutenween was within a reasonable time frame so it really was my fault I didn’t do the chapter earlier, the reason being that I usual take it slow and steady with the main quests for SQ reasons(I like saving quest SQ until I need them) and I feel finishing them too fast makes the game feel dead. I didn’t like it needing the requirement all because of Illya/Sitonai and the story of Shutenween was spread super thin. It did not need(much) context of Gotterdammer and if missed would have contributed to almost nothing to the story. However...

Warning: anger ahead
And that’s what I meant by DW having their head shoved up their ass when it comes to the lostbelt. That really stupid way they try to justify the events and linking it to the lostbelt when it clearly would not have matter. The way they’re trying to say it’s canon or part of the timeline but then flimsly say that it was a dream so it isn’t really, they dance around the story but is too afraid to admit it is part of the story just pissed me off because they want their cake and eat it. That is just shit. What also piss me off is that the so call spoilers were just small cameos or tidbits that doesn’t really connect and really would not have matter had we not even finish the said LBs.The equivalent of that cameo of Anastasia during the Summber BB event
When you mention the demon tower, you know what’s funny about that? During LB2 they actually tried to make that event a part of the canon time line by having Dante as a firewall in your brain when you got mindhacked by Sitonai yet they still try to play it off that Dante event as not really happened by obscuring and acting as if that was the first time Dante appeared.
But the main reason I am pissed off is that the they forced us to rush through that LB. As I said above, Sin came out with a month time before the Chrismas and we were barely given time before they forced the New Year event where we have to clear it. Why? Why the fuck? What the fuck is so important on your noncanonical event that you so try to say is part of the time line yet cowardly say it ISN’T that you have to grab us by the balls to rush through your newly release chapter that barely even had the air let out before you bombarded us with another Chrismas event? I understand your new story is very well written, but let me read the motherfucking thing at my own pace rather than smashing it into my face and forcing me. Rather, let me read it at all. And now that you forced us to rush through it and with your event ended, what do you have for me? Oh what? You mean to tell me your game is now dead because there isn’t anything new and you only have reruns now because you need time for your next story? Well damn, if only there was something we could have enjoyed while waiting for the next fucking update like a previous chapter or something you jackasses.
What they did for the New year and Sin was a dick move through and through. I hate what they did, I hate how they did it, and I hate them for even also putting DAILY POINTS FOR THE EVENT making it so after a certain time it would be impossible to finish the event tiers, making it feel even more like they’re forcing us to finish the chapter and looking like pretenious dickheads wanting everyone to immediately read their new stories just so they can brag about it. And I hate the fact that shit like this might become the norm for future releases.
I just hate being forced to do things, especially of they’re holding something I want.

I thought that thing is already been there since his interlude and Shinjuku. The reason why you seem to not recognize him likely because you don't have Dantes, just like how we recognized Ishtar or not in Babylonia depending on whether or not we rolled her in Christmas.

The reason why new year after SIN is because we finally get to the Wandering Sea in that chapter, and Sion sets up her workshop to be as close as Chaldea as she can. Which means, we can rayshift again and free of this nagging "it's not right" feeling we have knowing that there's nowhere we can go to while inside the Shadow Border. This way, they can justify the utter mood whiplash most of the events are because it would be a Singularity we run into without any hang-up. It basically in the same narrative threshold of London so they don't need to dance around things spoilery like the shits with True Name in EoR (they even gives up on it by making Tomoe's name visible in the New Year banner). Beside, new players can still get into it because EoR is and will never mandatory. The milestone is actually lower than it looks.

There probably won't be a Part 3, though. Nasu stated he's done writing for FGO after Part 2 ends. Granted, he's gone back on his word before, but on the off chance he doesn't this time, FGO would probably be reduced to nothing more than the shorter events, like the Christmas, Summer, and Halloween stories, which could more easily be handled by other writers.

I remember hearing about that as well and that’s going to be bit of a problem. In my opinion, most of the better scenerio were written by him, although the other writers do try their damn hardest. It was thanks to him that the story really picked up even in part 1 through Camelot and such.
I’m not hating on the other writers but....I really don’t want the story to go back to Rome levels where characters were introduce then under use and even the emotional moments just felt tacky, with the entire premise just....a pain to sit through.
The fact that FGO is a very story driven game is both it’s major strength and weakness. It is one of the only few mobile game where much of the gameplay is purely driven by the story, unlike many others that are just whatever. It’s thanks to the story and events that there is a reason to progress because the grinding is absolutely god awful and the gameplay itself is subpar. Even if you grind, the only reason is to so you can have characters to help you through events and the main story. But once you finish the main story, the game just becomes dead. We don’t have anyway to replay chapters or refight the bosses in the chapters, nor is there any other type of activaties so there really isn’t anything to do which makes DW rushing us, yet again, a really, really stupid fucking move. FGO really isn’t like other mobile games that have actual playable values and that’s it’s big flaw. If there isn’t a story chapter or event, the game instantly just becomes a daily chore to just log in and leave. Events can only hold the players for so long, and with the way they also try to alienate the new players, there is not much of a future for FGO once LB is finish and Nasu goes.
What the hell? I just mention something Nasu himself said on his blog and I get downvoted?
Get used to it. It happens a lot around here. Actually, I phrased that rather impolitely, sorry. Either it was an accidental downvote, or someone just doesn't like you (I'm a victim of it).
Part of me is hoping Nasu is going to do something effective with his time if he isn't as involved with FGO's writing as he used to be. No, I don't think he'll actually start on the Tsukihime remake. That became a never-ever vaporware project.
I find it adorable that Nitoctis and Jeanne still cared for their Master even though she mostly abused them both.
Stockholm Syndrome.
That, and with Gudao gone away, and frozen solid last time he was seen, if they have no Master they'll probably just fade away...
Although they could just take an astral form and slip off the ropes now Gudako isn't standing guard on them, and get her the medical help instead of yelling for it, but... gag manga.
On the topic of medical help, I don't think Riyo's ever included Nightingale in the strip, has he? This might be a good chance for it.
Ritsuka may be dying, but she's still going to shamelessly promote merchandise.
