... What are the odds that Semiramis' kidnapping of the kid is not really her fault per se -- that is to say, that she's under mind-manipulation by a third party of some sort who is capitalizing on her newfound affection for the baby as a way to subtly bend her will to their own?

I kinda want to see Semiramis to become the babysitter.
