Refers to an incident in ancient Japanese mythology: the sun goddess, Amaterasu, had sealed herself in a cave behind a boulder. The other gods and goddesses gathered around the mouth of the cave to try and coax her out, but it wasn't until Ame-no-Uzume began performing a striptease dance that Amaterasu finally rolled the boulder back to peek out at the commotion.chatter
