Well Mikoto's a Cleric*, so she needs Wis. Handle Animal is also keyed to Cha, and dealing with supernatural summons usually require Cha anyway...

(Maybe Shugenja, but that class is mechanically lackluster and flavor-wise doesn't fit Japanese mythology/tradition at all, despite the name. PF's Oracle can be a nice fit though.)

Mieru's main issue is using INT as her dump stat. All things considered (although without translations its hard to tell), I wager either DEX or STR is Mikoto's dump stat.

Jokes aside, yeah, Clerics usually dump either DEX or STR, depending on whether they're the frontline melee type or not.
