Though this pairing has not gone unnoticed, that's for sure.

I really hope whatever P5 stage Joker comes with has a conversation feature with him a la Snake on Shadow Moses or Pit on Palutena's Temple. I could see the rest of the Phantom Thieves driving Futaba crazy asking her what's she's doing in a fight.

I could careless about Joker being a cameo in smash, but the fact that Atlus is allowing him to be in it means that there is a chance of the floodgate opening and Persona 5 coming to switch.
Atlus can be such asshats sometimes when it comes to other platforms. I’ve lost hope of ever seeing any of their game on steam and because fuck Sony.

But sweet Jesus christ if Persona 5 ever come out for switch I would gladly sell my kidneys and new born just to get it.

Its all but guaranteed to. Persona 3 came out for PSP, Persona 4 came out for Vita, but the Switch seems to be taking the portable playstations' role as the mobile RPG machine these days - it even has a Disgaea port already, also previously a PSP/Vita thing. Updated rerelease of Persona 5 with additional content for Switch would just be a continuation of the pre-existing pattern.

Here's to hoping we get Palutena as a summonable Persona in it.

Yeah, I think Vita will finally rest in peace. Even SRW will use Switch as its handheld platform next year.
