It's so weird that they still wear their bandages under that makeup, and in the case of Ai, it makes no sense. Her mouth is covered by her bandages, so no one would even be able to see her mouth if it was covered in makeup. That always bothered me with this detail, that we can still visibily see the mouth despite being covered up when we clearly shouldn't. I don't know, my brain hurts just thinking about it...

In the sixth episode when her make-up is washing off in the rain, you can actually see the outline of her bandages under it.
How does Ai even have skin? Wasnt it all burned off in the lightning strike that killed her?
A) You're talking spoilers, so use the [ spoiler ] markup.
B) It's anime logic, the same as how Lily's heart isn't completely exposed when makeup is on. (And it's cartoony instead of gross when it is exposed.) She looks normal with makeup on even when it's irrational for her mouth to work properly because that's what it takes to make the show work, and it's a comedy show anyway, so any time you notice something like that, a wizard did it. People don't actually turn entirely black like a Looney Tunes cartoon when injured, you know? They're just keeping death cartoony because actual death is gross and kills the comedic buzz.
C) Actual lightning strikes tend to only burn where the current goes through, which would largely be internal burns with charring on the spots where the lightning entered and exited (pointer finger and feet in Ai's case). Also, death by electricity is rarely ever caused by burns themselves (outside of the actual strike spots, it doesn't get hot enough long enough), but by passing through the heart. Actual lightning usually just causes patterns from burst blood vessels.
