Not even an exaggeration. What makes it worse is that the guy is undeniably hot under the helm despite his 24/7 obsession. So apparently he takes some time out off his goblin slaying crusade to keep his health up.
I remember that the same "euphoric" pleasure center of the brain activated by sex is also activated by other activities, such as a drug high, hormones secreted during extreme situations like a "runner's high" or an adrenal rush, or even some forms of meditation. He may either be a "battle junkie" that gets a high from battle that's better for him than sex, or he may just be such a PTSD basket case that he's just not capable of intimacy anymore.
Either way, there can be legitimate reason for someone who's seen as much blood and death as he has to not even notice the women around him.
Well, in the year 1 story, his town was attacked by the goblins and his sister hid him so the goblins wont harm him but his sister got cought by the goblins and was brutally raped infront of him while he hide, until a few days when the goblins already taken over their small town, he tried to escape only to see the people he knows werea bloody corpse being used by the goblins and almost got caught by the goblins too if it waren’t for his master.
His master is a goblin that thought him how to kill goblins effectively(speculation)
Some people wonder how he amassed such a sizable harem around him, to which I would say to look at Bruce Wayne. Despite their obsessions and eccentricities, they are both individuals who can be described as "Superior Men", in many senses, so it would only make sense that as an "alpha" they would attract a number of females. Obviously there are the personal reasons for each heroine, but at the end of the day, everyone wants to bang Batman.
I must commend ole' GobSla for being a better Harem Protagonist than most Harem Protagonists, at least from the 2000's.
The guy doesn't even realize just how much of a lucky bastard he is.
Arguably, he's actually aware of people's feeling to a degree, if his comment on not making CG sad for his death is any indication. So it's not much of a stretch to say that he knows, but just unable to reciprocate.
In fact, the one time he feels something back, it confuses him so much he actually stops thinking about killing goblins.
