It was inevitable.

Peach already has Lily (baby), Rider (Pink Gold), and Caster (Shadow Queen) forms, and now she's even got Peachfaces in Peachette (possibly Alter Ego on Toadette's part), Bowsette (presumably Berserker), and Princess King Boo (presumably Avenger).

All we need now is a Mysterious Heroine P to start a Super Crown Peach harvest.

It was still the mud of the grail that did that, since all the worlds evils enhances negative traits while suppressing positive traits. Which is why Gilgamesh acts like an absolute prick compared to his generic prick personality in Zero, his massive ego was strong enough to keep from completely turning into a psychopathic asshole though.

Gil's level of assholery is more linked to how much he hates/likes the era he's summoned into than anything else, IIRC. He's far more at home in the Moon Cell, if I recall correctly, than he is at the beginning of 21st-century Earth. He absolutely hates our era in comparison.
