Artist's commentary
"Suna" cat-chan and Tsuchinoko-chan (equipped with infrared laser range finder).
"Suna" means sand, as in Sand Cat's Japanese name "Suna neko", but is also the first two syllables in the Japanese pronunciation of "sniper" ("sunaipaa").
