Well, the movie came out fairly recently, so it's not like there would have been more of them earlier. I presume it's just the nature of memes that people who have actually seen the movie have different impressions right when it comes out, but after time, the memes coalesce and the flanderization begins especially among those who didn't see the movie. That is to say, memes are a snowball: Being more popular makes more people reference it, which makes them more popular, so it's not like it's just one artist, but that the more individual artists there are, the more it feeds itself until there's more pushback against the meme to kill it than interest in the meme to feed it.
