    How It Works

    Wargaming's video series explaining the mechanisms of World of Warships called "How It Works" always involves Fuso as their test target. Maybe they know she's an easy bully target.

    The WoWs team are weebs themselves. They commission a comic strip from a mangaka (Puka Puka Fleet) and are well aware of ship girls (collab with Azur Lane and Arpeggio). If I remember in a video of how they researched the IJN line, a Japanese naval historian/consultant showed KanColle to the team.

    Eh not really, the haters are louder, but that's likely because they've pretty much already lost so they're rather bitter. Their screaming aside the reality is the game is overrun with anime memes including among many of the most followed streamers and youtubers and the overwhelming majority of the population doesn't care or actively participates.
