Hell no! All it is is ridiculously drawn-out fight scenes. It does suck. When Freiza was fighting Gokuo, they had five minutes until the world blew up. FIVE MINUTES. And the fight when on for, like, 20 more episodes!

Girls would like it more (heck Trunks was close to a AT-style pretty boy; let alone in this style)

I perfer the series as toriyama drawn it, this would've been a girls only show, with straight people hiding there inner emotions.

Amazing how people remember that part but not the part about Freiza mentioning it was taking much longer than he had predicted.

I believe this was when there was some kind of anniversary for the series, so a lot of different professional artists did tributes to it. IIRC, Kubo Tite did one as well.

i would definately be interested in seeing Dragonball being done by tanemura arina it maybe different from what Toriyama-sensei did, but i bet it would be interesting none the less
