Maybe I'm thinking too hard into it but, I don't get it, those are indeed the answers most people give, so why that distrust of the guy that asked? And well, the answer guy's expression also indicates that that distrust is actually justified... so what we have here? Is it the answer guy too embarrased to say "I wanna be a cute girl"? Or is it something else?
. . . . Look at those 3 lines of text because of a 4koma, today will be a strange one.
I don't understand the discrepancy between male and female as choices in video games. You play who you like regardless for what reason, "No true Scotsman" be damned.
for those who don't get it: those are also very common excuses closeted trans women give for picking female characters in games (often before they even realize they're trans)

source: been there myself. it's a big mood
I always pick female character in game, as for my reason, I like yuri, I would rather see scissors than the d*ck of another dude, Though in violent game like Starcraft, Warcraft or Diablo, etc, I like male non-human character like Artanis, Thrall, Tyrael My priority in game : Non-human male character > female strength based character > male strength based character > non-human female character > female magic based character > male magic based character Oh how much I hate magical dude, tho the one that specialized in creation like Karax is also appreciated
I've never understood why people bothers about picking girls in videogames or what other people picks. It's a game, not an interpretation of your life.
Well, thing is, female characters often look better than males. And really, I have no problem using a male character, but seriously, seeing the female ones really is more pleasant.
Especially with games like Genshin Impact. Not to dis the character, but a guy with exposed stomach when fully clothed really doesn't sit well with me.
Seriously, these are the three most common answers, and they're all true. Not sure why he's gotta be embarrassed about it.
Because for the artist, if you want to play a woman, you're a closet transsexual, and everything you can say is an excuse. And the worst part is that I think he's actually serious about it, it's not just a troll.
It really pisses me off to see people talk like this, especially the kind you'd think would have a different view about what's OK for a man to do or OK for a woman to do, and especially in the video game fandom, where pretty much every Japanese-made one will feature a ripped, masculine woman and an effeminate man at some point.
It genuinely makes me wonder if there are people who think like this, just because their hobby is not socially acceptable.
Well, it is a silly comic, yes. But the topic is not a silly one.
The discussion would have exploded had this been Facebook or Twitter.
How isn't silly? Is just a little common experience that some transgender people had, and using Twitter and Facebook (and Reddit too) as an example is bad, they fight for everything in those sites.
