we are already drinking milk from hoofed animals. Can´t be that different! Then again the taste between bovine and equine meat is significant so who knows.

People can and do drink horse milk in the parts of the world where they are the main livestock animal IIRC.

I suppose getting milk from animals is as old as subsistence, with pasteurization and industrial know-how, anything that can be milked and exported around the world will be.

As far as I know, mare's milk is high in lactose. Drinkable, but is going to mess up badly your digestive system.
