Only in some insect species such as mantises does the female eat the male. Besides she's an arachnid not an insect but female spiders do sometimes eat their mate.

I know. Female spiders usually eats the male when it gets mad or something like that. But I think the black widow spider is known to eat it's mate, hence the name(somewhat,more or less) I actually meant it as a joke since Wriggle is know to be shown with Yamame and Wriggle is also shown to be a guy sometimes.
Well, to be fair, some species of firefly do in fact eat the males, only in their case they do the deed after they lure them close enough to them by flashing their lights in a manner that means they want to mate (iirc). So, in that sense, Wriggle could be the same, I guess...
