It's a very true aspect on Gensokyo. So it's pretty great everyone has the danmaku system to play with.

The danmaku system really places everyone on an even playing ground, since it does allow the weaker beings such as humans to even stand a chance against the real monsters among the youkai. In relation to this work in particular, its always been a personal opinion of mine that Satori has a great power for the danmaku "game". In terms of strength, mind-reading and clairvoyance is on the weaker end of the overpowered abilities residents possess. However, being able to predict your opponent's next move, while it doesn't necessarily mean Satori can dodge the upcoming danmaku barrage, it does mean she can prepare for it strategically. In any sort of game that isn't largely based on chance and RNG, Satori really is someone you wouldn't want to compete against. Hell, her ability to pull out spellcards her opponent has previously experienced is part of her repertoire in SA. Basically, everyone in Gensokyo is terrifying when you look at the implications of what their power really allows them to do.
