    Lost to Kaiji, got his face and the bottom side of his body burnt as punishment by being forced to genuflect on top of a giant improvised teppanyaki plate, then dragged off to hospital. Might have survived, might have not, but he stops appearing in the manga (except in flashbacks) after that point. Even if he had survived he would have been disgraced and demoted.

    ... She says as she drags him off to an eternity of forced labor in Hell. Bonus points for how not too long before this moment he was mocking people who turn to religion for salvation.

    Really love Warugaki's rendition of Koishi. This Koishi really nails this incredible combination of cute and uncanny valley, resulting in a story that's both funny and full of fridge horror.
