I'm almost certain this is parodying a scene from Fist of the North Star, but I can't confirm it right now.

[Edit]: Okay, the second strip references Kenshiro's fight with Shin, but the first one...I can't be sure yet. It might just be a "look and feel" kind of thing, not a specific reference.
