Lots of tags like that need to fucking die, I swear.
Months ago, I was doing a mean sweep of the "shota" + "straight"-tagged images and changing them to "straight_shota" so that people who have the "shota" tag blacklisted won't have to miss out on the good, heterosexual stuff. Then some penis goes and aliases 'em together. Permanently.

If you're referring to the tag implication of straight_shota -> shota, I believe that's in place to help make the filtering of shota and loli content consistent. I'm not sure that a post with the straight_shota tag (but not shota) would be filtered correctly for ad placement.
The current setup does hurt functionality for those that want to both blacklist shota and see straight_shota, though.

Yes. First step, shoot the person who put a "mode=big" pixiv url in the source field. THESE URLS DO NOT WORK. Once this is done, change the "big" to "medium" and open the link. Then actually open the full-size pic, and copy the IMAGE url (NOT the page url!) and put it in the source field here. From now on, just clicking on the source link will take you to the normal pixiv info page for the pic, including artist etc.

It should work to use a blacklist line of "shota -straight_shota". We've had this sophisticated blacklisting system for a long time now but people still don't seem to know how to use it properly.
