Are those really panties? Looks more like a rice bowl with that little thing at the bottom.
I think it's a reference to something from K-ON where one of the girls tripped during a concert, exposing her underwear to the audience, but they do a cutaway to a rice bowl with blue stripes instead of actually doing the panty-shot.
